LASAR (Lancaster Area Search and Rescue) is a volunteer run charity reg no: 1177231 that exists to support the statutory emergency services in times of need. As an authorised SLSGB Flood response team they operate the only flood rescue boats located in Lancaster.
But to do this they need your support; so please visit their charity shop on Caton Road (off Lansil Way) there is free parking and loads of bargains. Or if you have any donations of furniture, working electricals, clothing, books, games, DVDs and CDs we would be very grateful. They offer a collection service for large items!
