This is the style where age, physique or gender is genuinely not a barrier to training or a limiting factor in your ability to employ the art.
The simple concepts and principles, based on good, effective body mechanics, can be applied by a person of any age, size or gender, to help them offset the advantanges of a younger, larger, fitter or stronger person.

I have been training at this club for several years now and have always found it to have a very friendly atmosphere and everyone more than willing to help. You will get excellent instruction from the instructors who are very friendly and patient. Wing Chun is a nonsense martial art that is very effective and I would recomend Somerset Wing Chun to anyone thinking of trying a martial art.

Excellent club. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
An instructor that has an incredibly thorough understanding of Wing Chun and puts in a way that is easy to understand.
I would highly recommend this Martial Art if you want something you can use for self defence rather than for sport and the club is fantastic.

Wing Chun as a martial art and self defence art is very effective when taught properly. Bill runs a very friendly class catering for most ability and age groups. If you want to enjoy ego free high quality training come along and see. Great fun great teacher great class
