If I had written this 72 hours ago I would have been waxing lyrical about good service and supply of a quality product. HOWEVER, the two new tyres that I bought from this outfit now gives me serious cause for concern and I am in the process of addressing this with Trading Standards. One of the tyres came away from the rim whilst driving causing my wife to nearly have a very serious accident on a major road. As if that wasn't bad enough on trying to remove the tyre it became apparent the wheel lock had been done up too tight and was impossible to turn. The AA man that eventually got it off was absolutely horrified that any garage would use an impact wrench so severely on a locking nut. He had to destroy the locking nut to remove it. Sadly, my story does not end there. I took the removed tyre back to SC Tyres where the approach to customer service and tone suddenly changed for the very worst. The attitude of the far-from-delightful-individual who took on my complaint was pure apathy and denial of responsibility. Despite proving to himself the tyre was clearly not sitting on the rim properly and the vehicle had been allowed to leave their premises in that state there was still a tirade of comments about driving ability, not knowing how to change a tyre (reference to the AA having to removing the locking nut) and how he was doing me a favour by letting me stand inside the garage as he could "easily have me stand outside"! This champion of customer services also told me he had nothing to do with the problem and told me that I was "accusing" him of bad workmanship". On getting back to the vehicle I decided to check the second tyre and found this wheel lock is also stuck fast. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the locks before they got tightened by SC Tyres. They are original manufacturer fitted.
Long story short - you are far safer keeping well clear of these cowboys. Have had to give 1 star as the website will not allow publication of reviews without a star rating (it should be zero stars in this case!)
