After booking a return 'taxi' to Heathrow three weeks in advance I phoned up the day before just to confirm my booking and was met with a very rude response. I was told I did not need to confirm my booking and that by the way we do not use 'taxis'. I think anyone in my position with a 'taxi' booked for the airport would feel it to be quite normal to confirm one day before and i do not appreciate being told not to use the word 'taxi'. This I found to be very patronising hence I then phoned back later and cancelled my 'taxi'. I found another company for the same price and will never use Stanway Travel or their 'taxis' again.
