My partner and I decided to give Voongs a try after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and I really wish we hadn't bothered...especially as I am 41wks pregnant and leaving the house is a total effort anyway! Ha We arrived at an entirely empty Voongs at 18.10pm (ten mins after opening time) on Thursday 9th October and were greeted with "do you have a reservation?" - we didn't. The greeter explained that they were fully booked ...from 19.15pm and couldn't possibly accommodate us. I assured him that we would be able to finish our meals and vacate within an hour! to which he replied "well I can't guarantee that we will be able to get you served within an hour!" ....please remember the restaurant was completely EMPTY and he had no bookings for AN HOUR! My partner and I honestly thought he was joking until he just walked away to the back and left us standing there openmouthed. Truly shocking - no attempt to accommodate just 2 people (1 heavily heavily pregnant!). I appreciate this review may have no impact on your decision to use Voongs as we can't actually review the food, but with service like they exhibited I will not be returning and would encourage others to try another of the many many restaurants in MK instead - ones that would appreciate local loyal custom!!!
