Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with this builder and so we cannot recommend him. We hired this builder to do a bathroom extension and a loft conversion. We paid him in full, in instalments as per the contract we had with him, but once we had reached the end of paying all the instalments he stopped work and disappeared leaving the loft conversion unfinished. We tried very hard to get in touch with him and to keep communication channels open but for a while he didn’t respond at all.
In the end we had to hire a new firm of builders (costing us much more money, stress, and discomfort etc.) in order to finish the works which this builder had left unfinished (and had also left in a not very safe condition, given that we have two small children in the house). The new company had to strip out all the work in the loft and re-do everything, and so we spent the winter without a roof. Not recommended.
