My young daughter was driving her BMW to the Cotswolds from Norwich on the 15th January 2016 and broke down in Northampton at night where she got relayed to Gloucester.
I live in Surrey and found Charlie, Mottec, mobile auto electrician online boasting his services.
He came and looked at her car four days later and changed a sensor wire on the battery and overcharged her considerably for the part (as I checked this out) and charged her 350 pounds in total and didn’t fix the car.
He left my daughter to find and get a new alternator herself and then kept taking on other work and never returned to help her.
I am a Bricklayer with limited mechanical expertise but I drove to Gloucester 130 miles where my daughter had been stranded until the 5th February (3 weeks) and between us we fixed it after many difficult, frustrating hours in the freezing cold and rain for two days.
He overcharged and did not fix the car or return and left her stranded.
