No car, just foul-mouthed abuse. I landed at Heathrow and waited 30 minutes for the car I'd pre-booked to go home. No car turned up, so I called their office and could hardly get a word in before the individual (the owner I suspect) had a temper tantrum, repeatedly shouted 'f*** off' a couple of times and hung up!! I caught the train home.
In that abuse there was mention of a bill not being paid - news to me and he didn't (or couldn't) tell me any details! They have my contact info so why on earth didn't they email, call my mobile or just raise it when I booked!? Next day I wrote a (polite) letter listing past invoices and payments and asked what was missing - that was 3 weeks ago and no reply, so who knows what juvenile game this is.
I've never known a company treat a customer with such vindictive contempt and I resent how much I've used them over the years. I'm travelling frequently again now and I'm pleased my money is going elsewhere - but also, I wouldn't ever want to get in a car with such an individual ...
