Moved onto a house recently with Joedan windows fitted less than 4 years ago. Some of the windiws jumped on opening. Phoned up to ask for repair as assumed a 10yr guarantee is just that. Told windows insured with previous owner. Said she would be happy to request work . Told can't do that. This company have little faith in products I would suggest. By this token the guarantee could be worthless after leas than a year if you move. No where in sales bumph does it state this.
All previous double glazing we have had done elsewhere has had a fully transferable, insurance backed warranty.
Have asked for a copy of the warranty on our windows when purchased. ..no reply.
