My daughter recommended me to go to queenies, I was very reluctant, given the fact that I was 69 years old and had never been anywhere like this. I expected the staff to be all slim, beautiful with sort of pounting lips, I thought they may sort of look down on an oldie like me. Was I surprised? Yes! I couldn’t have found a more welcoming place to go to, friendly, knowledgeable staff, cups of tea, so nice, didn’t push their products just gave advice. A mini community feeling.
