We engaged Signature by Mark Small to find a tenant for our property. The tenant they recommended to us failed to pay the full rent consistently and regularly missed payments from the start of the tenancy. After eventually evicting the tenant we discovered evidence left by the tenant in the property which conflicted with the information Signature by Mark Small had supplied to us.

As a result of this We submitted a file of complaint to the Property Ombudsman regarding Signature by Mark Small. Signature by Mark Small admitted to the Ombudsman that they had never obtained the tenant's current address only her telephone number and email address - blaming all errors on the company they use for reference checks. Our complaints were upheld and we were awarded compensation. This has not been paid within the specified time frame by Signature by Mark Small and the company may now be reported to the Disciplinary and Standards Committee (DSC) of The Property Ombudsman Council.

Signature by Mark Small states he wants to be different from his competitors and they certainly are.
