AB roofing. What a disgrace. I called a number is the local paper for a gutter cleaner. As this was in the local paper I believed that they could be trusted...THEY CANT.
I originally hired William and Thomas to clean the gutters but after some discussion we agreed that the roof would be cleaned as well. They said that it would take 1 day to do it. So the work began. William and Thomas arrived in company with one other male. ON DAY 1 they arrived nearly 2-3 hours LATE. The third male did 90% of the work while the other 2 seemingly sat in their van. No surprise then that the job went into day 2. Day 2 - late again. Again only 1 person was doing the bulk of the work. So day 3 began, late again. Finally the job was complete. To their credit (looking at the roof with my lay persons eyes) looks good. Prior to them leaving i asked for a receipt for the work. I was told to email the email address on the van. Which I did. I have still yet to receive any reply.
When they left, I noticed that 1/4 of the gutters where still very very dirty. Almost untouched. So I called them back. I was told that they were on a job and that they would return later that day to complete the work . They have not shown their face.
The van they used has a reg of LB03GUK, a simple .gov check shows this van is uninsured and has no MOT.
The website on the van - www.abroofing.co.uk is FAKE as is the email address
justroofs99@icloud.com is also a dud.
Avoid these 'people'
