Passed through Aspley Marina and found we could not moor on the vistor moorings or get on the water point next to the Aspley Wharf pub.
After mooring on another water point/ pump out ( 1 HOUR MAX STAY ALLOWED) we spoke to some of the boaters that live there thinking it was a popular place to visit and found out that the Marina let people moor there boats on the visitor's mooring long term and the same for the boats on the water point, which are lived on.
This is well out of order and the Canal Trust Need to do something about it. If you want to Visit Aspley you might struggle to find a mooring for a few nights.
