Untrustworthy and insulting salesmen
Visited dealer to look for and test drive car. I was made belief I found the right car "it's got your name on it" and left a 50GBP deposit "subject to diagnostic" as the car had a severe engine problem but was still interesting to me. I was told "Even if you decide not to take the car, you can get your deposit back".
It was stupid of me to leave anything as they now even hung up on me during the first phone conversation. The sales guy Leon kept on saying I was "rude" because I changed my mind and bought a different car without informing them first.
Instead I have been contacting them multiple times via two different methods on the Monday morning after I bought another car on Sunday to let them know I'd not go ahead with the purchase. They claimed they neither got my message via THEIR WEB FORM (!) nor their email.

Either way, they took advantage of the fact that I believed in my money being safe with them which I'll now have to claim back through small claims court, I guess.

It was my first and hopefully last encounter with them and their cars, which in the case of the car they suggested to me
- didn't run properly, would not go beyond 2500rpm
- had two easily to spot MOT relevant defects only one of which was listed in the "fresh MOT"
- was overpriced by 1000 GBP compared to what uswitch.com suggested the car was worth
