As I write this Murtagh & Maloney are ripping up our street. Their recalcitrant tradesmen do not care that residents may be trapped, emergency vehicles may be thwarted and there is no explanation for the chaos. Presumably hired by Leeds City Council through their shambolic and disreputable contract awarding system the veil of secrecy is drawn and woe betide anyone who questions the ethics morals principles and scruples required to ensure the public purse is protected.
