Do not patronize this store!
Stock was mostly old and often the only pair available was the one that had obviously been tried on numerous times and stretched – and dirty (on the inside!)
But worse still, the man (manager/owner?) was EXTREMELY rude when I decided not to purchase the pair I had eventually decided on (having been shown several unsuitable ones) because I wanted to ask my podiatrist first if they were suitable as I wasn’t a hundred percent sure - particularly important as there isn’t a returns policy and only exchange / credit.
The two lady assistants were pleasant enough but certainly not “experts “in shoe-fitting by any stretch of the imagination. They had obviously not been trained and were not knowledgeable enough to answer even basic questions on (my priority) different width sizes etc. The man actually said I had been wasting their time if I was not going to buy them today, that the ladies needed to go to lunch - it was 1.30pm (the shop does not close for lunch…); there was no queue and only one other person in the store who was being attended to.
A shocking and very upsetting experience!
